Si la reduccion se realiza utilizando nabh sub4 como reductorse aisla el compuesto (eta-c sub5 h sub5) sub2 tabh sub4 que se ha utilizado como especie precursora para la preparacion de hidrurocompuestos (eta-c sub5 h sub5) sub2 tahl  l=ligando pi-acido. (Eta-c sub5 h sub5) sub2 tacl se comporta como un acido de lewis frente a ligandos pi-acidos y frente a haluros metalicos mxy sub2  m=fe  al  tl  lo que ha permitido aislar organocompuestos de estequiometrias (eta-c sub5 h sub5) sub2 tacll y (eta-c sub5 h sub5) sub2 taclmxy sub2. Por otro lado (eta-c sub5 h sub5) sub2 tacl sub2 se comporta como base de lewis frente a los mxy sub2 y se aislan los aductos (eta-c sub5 h sub5) sub2 tacl sub2. Mxy sub2. El tratamiento de (eta-c sub5 h sub5) sub2 tacl sub2 y (eta-c sub5 h sub5) sub2 tacl con los halogenos ha permitido preparar derivados neutros y cationicos de tantalo v. El estudio estructural de los compuestos aislados se realizo mediante espectroscopia de elevado a 1 h nmr  ir y medidas de magnetismo mediante el metodo de faraday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
