Antonia <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El estudio clinico-radiologico  morfologico y del liquido articular de tres series de pacientes ha demostrado que en nuestro medio la e.D.C.P.P. Incide fundamentalmente en mujeres en la segunda mitad de la vida. Clinicamente se manifiesta por artritis agudas (75 %) y\/o artropatia cronica (68 %) y radiologicamente por una calcificacion patognomonica del cartilago articular (93%) y una artopatia subcondral (88%)  afectandose significativamente mas rodillas y carpos. Se han hallado depositos cristalinos a nivel del cartilago hialino y fibroso  tendones y sinovial  asi como en anillo fibroso y nucleo pulposo de los discos intervertebrales.
