Uno de los temas que plantea mayores discursiones  es el de la influencia de los factores intrinsecos y extrinsecos durante el mismo. Por ello ya en 1976  en nuestro departamento iniciamos el estudio de dichas influencias mediante la perfusion continua curarizantes al embrion de pollo  con lo que obtuvimos la paralizacion de los movimientos embrionarios y con ello la ausenciao la desaparicion de las cavidades articulares. Movidos por estos resultados intentamos conseguir el efecto contrario  es decir la hipermovilidad embrionaria  para valorar sus efectos sobre el desarrollo de las cavidades articulares. Para ello hemos inyectado reserpina al embrion de pollo  a dosis varias  con lo que hemos obtenido resultados que varian segun la dosis y el tiempo de exposicion a la misma.
