Se estudian las funciones de transmision de estos registros tanto en amplitud como en fase teniendo en cuenta las condiciones de linealidad de los registros. Se describe la construccion de placas zonales de amplitud y fase lineales y no lineales  en cuanto a su funcion de transmision y  elipticas hiberbolicas y -como casos particulares- circulares y lineales  en cuanto a su geometria. Se describen ademas algunas aplicaciones de dichas placas zonales en el terreno de la alineacion de montajes y en el de ensayos no destructivos  asi como la construccion de replicas a partir de las
