Se ha procedido a estudiar la correlacion entre las variables climatologicas y de contaminacion con la corrosion de los metales anteriormente mencionados. Para ello se han efectuado medidas de humedad relativa, temperatura, concentracion atmosferica de cloruros y so2, asi como de aumento (productos de corrosion) y perdida de peso de los materiales mencionados despues de programas de exposicion atmosferica desde uno hasta doce a\u00f1os.  se han analizado los productos de la corrosion mediantes tecnicas recientes de estudio de superficies como son sem, edx, sims, asi como mediante la utilizacion de la microscopia optica.  los datos experimentales se han ajustado a modelos que han permitido la obtencion de ecuaciones en funcion del material y de la concentracion de los diferentes contaminantes. Por otra parte, estos resultados han permitido establecer el mapa de corrosividad de la atmosfera de barcelona, clasificando los grados de corrosion de acuerdo con las normativas
