La adicion de los haluros determina la aparicion de un periodo no estacionario inicial de duracion variable. En esta fase de la reaccion  la actividad cinetica del sistema es inferior a la exigida por la ecuacion de velocidad general. En presencia de aedt  adct y adtp  ademas de la fase no estacionaria indicada  se pone de manifiesto una disminucion  e incluso anulacion del coeficiente cinetico obtenido una vez superada aquella fase inicial. Las otras complexonas  el ant y el aegt  no afectan en un grado apreciable a la velocidad d la reaccion principal.
