Dada la novedad de estas medidas se ensayaron distintas expresiones analiticas para establecer la relacion entre ambas  encontrando que un planteamiento lineal arrojo excelentes resultados. Sobre la base de consideraciones teoricas acerca de los procesos de absorcion de la radiacion solar por el vapor de agua  variacion diaria de este y distribucion vertical en la atmosfera  se propone un nuevo metodo para la estima diaria u horaria del agua precipitable que mejora los resultados obtenidos por las ecuaciones de otros autores (reitan  smith  hann  etc.) Que utilizan solo indices de
