Cada una de las estrategias planteadas utiliza uno de los sistemas basicos de la molecula objetivo como producto de partida.  partiendo del indol se han obtenido una serie de 3-(2-tieneil) indoles-2-sustituidos mediante reacciones de se en posicion 2 del indol y de la metalacion. A partir de tiofeno las secuencias planteadas han permitido obtener los equivalentes sinteticos de los sintones propuestos en el planteamiento teorico asi como derivados del pirazol y pridazina.
