Pero tampoco constituyen una multiplicidad doctrinal dispersa.  la teoria de las ideas es un instrumento basico aglutinador que confiere unidad y estructura al conjunto de contenidos. Pero la teoria de las ideas no es un constructo fijo al margen de las vicisitudes de la vida de pensamiento de platon. A este respecto  el fedon  el parmenides y el sofista representan respectivamente el momento eleatizante  el momento critico y el momento dialectico de la teoria de las ideas. En el tercero de esos dialogos culmina ese desarrollo de la teoria con una doctrina en cierto modo movilista del ser y de la idea y la puesta en primer plano de la dimension de la comunicabilidad de
