Esta  ligada a la revolucion periodistica que se deriva de la industrial entra en competicion con los modelos narrativos imperantes. Su especificidad  debida al soporte difusivo  requiere una definicion clara basada en la trayectoria historica del genero. A raiz de un analisis concreto de una serie de textos folletinescos considerados como modelos  hemos llegado a la conclusion de que la novela de folletin no nace configurada sino que nace al calor de una demanda especifica del publico que lee los diarios  presentando asi dos etapas claras en su constitucion como genero. Durante la segunda etapa  que se situa hacia 1842  es cuendo la novela de folletin se constituye en un universo de seduccion basado en la evasion de la realidad cotidiana para el
