Para leptones negativos (positivos) dextrogiros (levogiros)  el proceso es mediado por corrientes neutras solamente  lo cual abre la posibilidad de obtener experimentalmente informacion sobre el numero de generaciones de obtener experimentalmente informacion sobre el numero de generaciones fermionicas. Suponiendo tres generaciones la seccion eficaz resulta ser 1.1 10-40 cm2 para 56fe y 6.6 10-40 cm2 para 208pb  tomando muones incidentes de 300 gev. Ed espectro energetico el lepton cargado final esta fuertemente picado en la zona de bajas energias.
