Con la inhibicion in vivi e in vitro de la  -glutamil transpeptidasa se demuestra el papel de dicha enzima y del glutation  y por tanto del ciclo -glutamilo en la captacion de aminoacidos por la glandula mamaria. Se estudia la evolucion de la captacion de aminoacidos por la glandula mamaria durante el periodo de lactancia  demostrando que es maxima en el pico de la lactancia (10-15 dias de lactancia). Se comprueba  ademas el papel regulador de la prolactina y utilizando el modelo experimental del destete unilateral de 5 horas se demuestra que la acumulacion de leche  independientemente del flujo sanguineo y ambiente hormonal  es el factoriniciador a corto plazo de la inhibicion en la captacion de aminoacidos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
