Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Objetivos: estudiar la excrecion de nag en diabeticos (dm) respecto a la poblacion normal y sus relaciones con el control glucemico y la nefropatia. Metodo: se estudiaron 100 dm y 45 controles; criterios de exclusion:  nefropatia, hipertension, urocultivo (+) o tto. Con nefrotoxinas; determinaciones: indice de excrecion de nag (ienag), urocultivo, orina elemental, microalbuminuria de 24 h (tea), bioquimica sanguinea y hba1c. Resultados: los dm presentaron ienag medio sign. Mayor que los controles excepto aquellos con g y hba1c no superiores a las de estos. En los dm con tea (-), aquellos con hba1c y.G adecuadas presentaron ienag sign. Menor que los que las presentaban elevadas; se observo relacion del ienag en este grupo con la g y creatinina serica (cr) (p&lt;0.0005 r=0.46). Divididos todos los pacientes en 4 grupos segun el nivel adecuado o no de g y tea, se observo ienag sign.  menor en el grupo con g y tea adecuadas respecto a los demas, el grupo con tea(+) y g normal tuvo ienag sign.  mayor que aquel con tea (-) y g alta. En la muestra completa hubo correlacion del ienag con la g, cr y tea (p&lt;0.001, r=0.42); los dm con g normal mostraron correlacion del ienag solo con la tea y cr (p&lt;0.0001, r=0.70), esta aumento al seleccionar los pacientes con hba1c&lt;8%(r=0.85). El ienag como indice de presencia de microalbuminuria mostro para todos los dm una sensibilidad (s)= 82.6% y especificidad(e)=58.4%, y para los dm con g&lt;170mg\/dl, s=100% y e=89%. Conclusiones: en los dm estudiados:1) aquellos con hba1c, g y tea similares a los controles no presentan ienag elevado; 2) la alteracion metabolica aumenta el ienag; 3) el ienag se relaciona con la g y no con la hba1c; 4) las teas elevadas coinciden con ienag elevados; 5) la relacion entre la tea y el ienag es mas importante que la de este con el control glucemico y, con glucemias&lt;170 mg\/dl el ienag traduce da\u00f1o renal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Significacion clinica de la determinacion urinaria de nag en la diabetes mellitus.<\/strong>\u00ab<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>T\u00edtulo de la tesis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Significacion clinica de la determinacion urinaria de nag en la diabetes mellitus. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Autor:<\/strong>\u00a0  Sanchez Hueso M.
