La bondad de la nueva tecnia de participion se estudia analizando posibles correlaciones con los desplazamientos quimicos de 13c y de 15n. Finalmente se lleva a cabo una extension del tratamiento que permite definir las cargas de enlace mediante un ajuste de nuevas funciones de densidad para enlaces tipo como son los c-c en las moleculas de acetileno  etileno y etano. Las caracteristicas fisicas del nuevo analisis de poblacion son correctas  dando polaridades moleculares acordes con lo que cabe esperar en cada caso a partir de las electronegatividades de los atomos
