Al ensayar la oxidacion en la 1-acetilamino-4-hidroxi-9 10-antraquinona no se obtuvo la diquinonmonoimina esperada sino la 4-acetilamino-9-acetoxi-1 10-antraquinona  cuya estructura ana-quinonica ha sido confirmada por metodos quimicos y espectroscopios. Esta ana-quinona  al igual que las antradiquinon-monoiminas  reacciona ccon dienos dando lugar a compuestos tetraciclicos que podrian ser transformados en estructuras referibles a las
