Se discute el concepto de coeficiente de descarga y se dan las principales ecuaciones para flujo compresible. Se recopilad el trabajo previo sobre coeficientes de descarga de orificios de pared gruesa y delgada de distintas formas y condiciones operativas. Se investigan los coeficientes de descarga de la seccion reducida de limbreras de admision y escape en flujo estacionario y en condiciones dinamicas  mostrando que su variabilidad es peque\u00f1a con
