Ademas de los determinantes antiganicos comunes presentes en los lipolisacaridos lisos respectivos  yersinia enterocolitica serotipo 9 contiene un componente de superficie inmunologicamente indistinguible con los haptenos nativos y del polisacarido b de brucella.
