El hipertiroidismo provocado con 5 5 microgramos de t sub 3 y con 25 microgramos de t sub 4 \/250 g peso\/dia  via s.C.  durante 15 dias previos a la decapitacion elevan significativamente la actividad pfk y pk  e inhiben la ldh; la pk es el enzima mas reactivo en situacion de hipotiroidismo; por iodoprivacion tiende a descender la actividad pk en todas las areas cerebrales  mientras que se eleva significativamente por tiroprivacion. El tratamiento sustitutivo con 0 8 microgramos de t sub 4\/100 g peso\/dia mas 1 mg de propiltiouracilo \/250 g peso\/dia es el que mejor responde para recuperar los niveles normales de actividad pk y
