Junto con el estudio de la descomposicion termica se ha procedido a determinar la variacion de entalpia asociada a cada etapa de descomposicion  la energia de activacion y el mecanismo del proceso que controla la velocidad de reaccion.  asimismo  se ha procedido al estudio estructural de todos los compuestos  por espectroscopia y medidas de momentos magneticos.  los resultados del estudio estructural indican que la morfolina se encuentra en unos casos como ligando monodentado y en otros como bidentado puente.
