Especial atenci\u00f3n se ha prestado en la b\u00fasqueda de efectos subletales que se manifiestan durante el desarrollo de los estados inmaduros y en la reproducci\u00f3n de adultos, para lo cual se han realizado ensayos de reproducci\u00f3n as\u00ed como observaciones histol\u00f3gicas de las g\u00f3nadas, de la gametog\u00e9nesis y de la producci\u00f3n de cocitos en las hembras.     el mayor efecto letal fue al causado por el insecticida qu\u00edmico de s\u00edntesis flufenoxorun, y a continuaci\u00f3n se situaron los dos productos de origen natural, azadiractina y spinosad, y los dos biol\u00f3gicos, b.Thuringiensis y granulovirus. Azadiractina fue alrededor de 10 veces m\u00e1s activa que spinosad, si bien la mortalidad causada por spinosad fue mucho m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida. Se han encontrado tambi\u00e9n alteraciones en los tiempos de desarrollo larvario y periodo de pupaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como en el porcentaje de viabilidad de huevos y anomal\u00edas en la
