Los resultados obtenidos han permitido establecer los posibles mecanismos de actuaci\u00f3n de estos elementos aleantes en el comportamiento a la corrosi\u00f3n de los aceros inoxidables en diferentes medios agresivos. En el caso del mo, su efecto positivo se ha asociado a un aumento de la estabilidad de la pel\u00edcula pasiva y\/o a la formaci\u00f3n de molibdatos y \u00f3xidos de molibdeno. Con relaci\u00f3n al mn, su efecto negativo en la resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n por picadura se ha asociado a la formaci\u00f3n de inclusiones ricas en dicho elemento. Por otra parte, un aumento del contenido en mo y ti, unido a una reducci\u00f3n del contenido en n y, especialmente, en c mejoran la resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n intergranular. De este modo, se ha podido conseguir aceros inoxidables de nuevo dise\u00f1o con menor coste y mayor resistencia a la corrosi\u00f3n ajustando su composici\u00f3n
