En la primera se exponen los resultados obtenidos mediante la t\u00e9cnica de haces moleculares cruzados, en el estudio de los sistemas mg + i\u00f3n alcalino (sodio, potasio, rubidio y cesio) de los cuales se estudian diferentes procesos de excitaci\u00f3n del \u00e1tomo de mg as\u00ed como de transferencia de carga con excitaci\u00f3n del i\u00f3n alcalino. En cuanto a los estudios de tipo te\u00f3rico, se presentan resultados ab initio obtenidos, a nivel de c\u00e1lculo csid (interacci\u00f3n de configuraciones simples y dobles) y utilizando la t\u00e9cnica de los pseudopotenciales, para diferentes estados electr\u00f3nicos singulete y triplete de los diferentes estados di\u00e1tomicos mg &#8211; i\u00f3n alcalino, obtenidos todos ellos con gran precisi\u00f3n comparativamente a los valores experimentales. Adem\u00e1s, con la finalidad inicialmente de tipo cualitativo se han calculado los acoplamientos no adiab\u00e9ticos entre los diferentes estados singulete con lo que se hace posible una interpretaci\u00f3n cualitativa de los resultados experimentales.     la segunda parte se destina a describir el desarrollo, montaje y puesta a punto hasta el estado de configuraci\u00f3n actual, de un nuevo equipo destinado al estudio experimental de reacciones entre iones y mol\u00e9culas a baja energ\u00eda. El nuevo aparato utilizala t\u00e9cnica de haces guiados por campos el\u00e9ctricos oscilantes y caracterizalos diferentes productos i\u00f3nicos por espectrometr\u00eda de masas. Todo el sistema experimental ha sido informatizados para el control, toma y tratamiento de datos.
