Este objetivos se ha conseguido con el desarrollo de una herramienta de dise\u00f1o inverso, que ha sido obtenida mediante la conjunci\u00f3n de un simulador del problema electrom\u00e1gnetico basado en la teor\u00eda de dispersi\u00f3n m\u00faltiple y un m\u00e9todo de optimizaci\u00f3n estoc\u00e1stico basado en algor\u00edtmos gen\u00e9ticos. El software ha sido escrito en fortran 90 y se puede ejecutar tanto en plataformas windows como linux. La eficacia de la herramienta de dise\u00f1o ha sido demostrada mediante la generaci\u00f3n de una seria de dispositivos que cumplen las limitaciones de probadas tecnolog\u00edas de fabricaci\u00f3n y ensamblaje; la de l\u00e1minas de cristal fot\u00f3nico y la t\u00e9cnica micro-manipulaci\u00f3n, respectivamente. Asociados a la t\u00e9cnica de micro-manipulaci\u00f3n, una nueva familia de elementos \u00f3pticos, los denominados \u00abscattering optical elements\u00bb(soe), ha sido introducida. concretamente, los dispositivos dise\u00f1ados han sido: lentes, divisores de longitud de onda, acopladores de gu\u00eda de onda, colimadores y cavidades fot\u00f3nicas, todos los cuales muestran nuevas y prometedoras caracter\u00edsticas. tambi\u00e9n se ha demostrado que se puede dotar a un mismo dispositivo de varias funcionalidades empleando el mismo m\u00e9todo de dise\u00f1o inverso. Finalmente, han sido obtenidos resultados experimentales en el campo de la dispersi\u00f3n ac\u00fastica de ondas que confirman la alta calidad de la herramienta de dise\u00f1o. varios prototipos de lentes ac\u00fasticas y divisores de longitud de onda, muy similares a los dise\u00f1os soe, han sido fabricados y la caracterizaci\u00f3n de sus propiedades ac\u00fasticas ha confirmado aquellas
