El trabajo abarca desde la determinaci\u00f3n de las zonas de formaci\u00f3n de vidrio en ambos sistemas, no estudiadas en la literatura hasta ahora, hasta la caracterizaci\u00f3n de los vidrios y vitrocer\u00e1micos y de sus propiedades relevantes.     tras la caracterizaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica y diltom\u00e9trica de las composiciones v\u00edtreas iniciales, se seleccionaron tres composiciones que satisfac\u00edan dos de los requerimientos m\u00e1s importantes, un cte entre 10-12&#215;10 -5 k-1, y un buen comportamiento frente a los procesos de sinterizaci\u00f3n y cristalizaci\u00f3n, por lo que en principio deb\u00edan dar lugar a sellos densos y homog\u00e9neos. Con estos vidrios se estudiaron las curvas viscosidad-temperatura y las propiedades el\u00e9ctricas en las condiciones de trabajo de la pila, oxidante y reductora.     asimismo, se abord\u00f3 el estudio en profundidad del proceso de cristalizaci\u00f3n para caracterizar los mecanismos que act\u00faan en cada composici\u00f3n en funci\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula, de la temperatura y de la velocidad de calentamiento. Este estudio, realizado en colaboraci\u00f3n con el lamav de sao carlos, brasil, permiti\u00f3 conocer las cin\u00e9ticas relativas de cristalizaci\u00f3n y compararlas con las cin\u00e9ticas de sinterizaci\u00f3n, para optimar las condiciones de sellado, siempre respetando las condiciones de trabajo de la pila. Despu\u00e9s de obtener sellos densos y homog\u00e9neamente cristalizados se ha estudiado la compatibilidad qu\u00edmica de los mismos frente a distintos sustratos candidatos a formar el interconector, y con el electrolito, en las condiciones de funcionamiento de la pila. Los \u00faltimos ensayos se refieren a la determinaci\u00f3n de la permeabilidad frente al ox\u00edgeno delos sellos, medidos en condiciones de gradientes de presiones, verificando que
