La simazina es un herbicida triaz\u00ednico que fue muy utilizado en gran variedad de cultivos, entre ellos en el olivar.     en este trabajo se ha cuantificado, mediante plc, la simazina residual en suelo de olivar de la provincia de  c\u00f3rdoba, s\u00f3lo en una de las muestras analizadas se detect\u00f3 una concentraci\u00f3n de simazina superior a 0,1 ppm. Se ha determinado la cin\u00e9tica de mineralizaci\u00f3n de simazina en dos suelos de olivar.     se ha conseguido aislar microorganismos, capaces de crecer con simazina como \u00fanica fuente de carbono y de nitr\u00f3geno. Entre los microorganismos aislados, se encuentran que los que pueden degradar este herbicida aislada y microorganismos, bacterias, que necesitan constituir un consorcio para poder degradar a la simazina. Estos microorganismos, bacterias y hongos, han podido ser identificados o al menos se ha podido determinar el grupo taxon\u00f3mico al que pertenecen mediante t\u00e9cnicas moleculares. Entre los microorganismos identificados se encuentran xanthomonas, sp variovarax sp, pseudothantomonas mexicana acidovarax sp y methylopila capsulata.     se han descrito tres rutas de degradaci\u00f3n de simazina diferentes en los microorganismos aislados y se han detectado los genes que codifican a las enzimas implicadas en dicha degradaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
