Este m\u00e9todo se ha denominado m\u00e9todo de cruce de l\u00edneas y permite diagnosticar simult\u00e1neamente la densidad electr\u00f3nica y la temperatura electr\u00f3nica. Se realiza un estudio hist\u00f3rico sobre las diferentes teor\u00edas y modelos de efecto stark en plasmas, con aplicaci\u00f3n en una descarga generada por microondas a presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rico. Se utiliza el modelo computacional de gigosos-carde\u00f1osos (gig-card), que recoge dela mejor forma en la actualidad importantes contribuciones al efecto stark como la din\u00e1mica i\u00f3nica. Se realiza igualmente una caracterizaci\u00f3n experimental de detalles del perfil de la l\u00ednea h-beta de la serie balmer que a\u00fan no est\u00e1n recogidos de forma satisfactoria en los modelos te\u00f3ricos, como los referidos a su asimetr\u00eda y la estructura del valle de la zona central de su perfil espectral.     como t\u00e9cnica de diagnosis, el m\u00e9todo de cruce de l\u00edneas se aplica con \u00e9xito en diferentes plasmas de laboratorio generados por microondas a presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica; plasma de arg\u00f3n en surfatr\u00f3n, plasma de arg\u00f3n en tia, plasma de hilio en tia. Es necesaria la introducci\u00f3n cuidadosa de hidr\u00f3geno extra en las descargas para una observaci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima de las l\u00edneas espectrales de la serie balmer. Tambi\u00e9n se consigue estudiar un plasma de hidr\u00f3geno puro en tia a presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica. Por \u00faltimo, el m\u00e9todo de cruce de l\u00edneas y los modelos de ensanchamiento stark se aplican a la fotosfera del sol.     el m\u00e9todo de cruce basado en ensanchamiento stark de l\u00edneas espectrales se compara satisfactoriamente en la descarga de hidr\u00f3geno puro en tia a presi\u00f3n atmosf\u00e9rica con otros m\u00e9todos de diagnosis y an\u00e1lisis, como el llamado
