Para ello hemos trabajado con los antagonistas selectivos aida (mglur1,5) y mpep (mglur5) buscando nuevas sustancias que puedan ser utilizadas en un futuro como posibles f\u00e1rmacos antiparkinsonianos.     el posible efecto neuroprotector fue evaluado mediante an\u00e1lisis estereol\u00f3gico de las c\u00e9lulas dopamin\u00e9rgicas de la sustancia negra, por estudio microdensitom\u00e9trico de las terminaciones dopamin\u00e9rgicas en el n\u00facleo estriado (en ambos estudios se le realiz\u00f3 previamente una inmunohistoqu\u00edmica indirecta en las secciones de tejido cerebral) y por el an\u00e1lisis de los niveles de los niveles tisulares cerebrales de dopamina y sus metabolitos mediante cromatograf\u00eda l\u00edquida de alta resoluci\u00f3n (hplc).     se demostr\u00f3 que el mglur5 est\u00e1 m\u00e1s claramente implicado en los posibles mecanismos neuroprotectores que elmglur1. La administraci\u00f3n ip del mpep previa a la administraci\u00f3n del neurot\u00f3xico mptp, consigue una neuroprotecci\u00f3n total de c\u00e9lulas dopamin\u00e9rgicas a nivel de sustancia negra y casi total sobre sus terminaciones en n\u00facleo estriado. Adem\u00e1s el mpep puede ser administrado sistem\u00e1ticamente con lo que abre una v\u00eda de estudio en la b\u00fasqueda de nuevos f\u00e1rmacos antiparkinsonianos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
