El an\u00e1lisis wavelet proporciona la mejor precisi\u00f3n en la determinaci\u00f3n de las caracter\u00edsticas temporales del evento y el filtro de kalman extendido permite, por un lado confirmar la existencia del evento, descartando aquellas detecciones err\u00f3neas que puede producir el an\u00e1lisis wavelet debido a su muy alta sensibilidad, as\u00ed como deteminar con la mayor exactitud la magnitud y fase de la tensi\u00f3n durante el evento.  el m\u00e9todo desarrollado se ha implementado un tiempo real sobre un sistem dsp, de forma que se adquieren las muestras de la tensi\u00f3n y se analizan sus valores dentro del intervalo de muestreo, para poder detectar y analizar eventos en el menor tiempo posible y poder desarrollar estrategias de protecci\u00f3n de los distintos equipos
