Aunque nos hemos centrado en el campo del diagn\u00f3stico en medicina nuclear a partir de estudios de \u00f3rganos peque\u00f1os, \u00e9sta encuentra aplicaciones en otros campos como la industria o la radiofarmacia.  el dispositivo tiene unas dimensiones, peso y campo de visi\u00f3n reducidos. las principales ventajas con respecto al resto de mini c\u00e1maras gamma existentes est\u00e1n en que la electr\u00f3nica est\u00e1 completamente integrada en el cuerpo de la c\u00e1mara y en que la v\u00eda de comunicaci\u00f3n con la computadora y la alimentaci\u00f3n se realizan a trav\u00e9s de puerto usb. Todas estas caracter\u00edsticas la hacen completamente port\u00e1til.
