Esta bacteria ha sido utilizada como sistema anfitri\u00f3n para la producci\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas recombinantes (gilbert y col., 1995), no obstante, tanto la consecuci\u00f3n como la mejora de la producci\u00f3n de estas prote\u00ednas, algunas de ellas de aplicaci\u00f3n industrial, requiere un estudio detallado e identificaci\u00f3n de cuellos de botella de los mecanismos implicados en la secreci\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas extracelulares en strptomyces. El mecanismo de transporte general de prote\u00ednas (sec) comienza con el reconocimiento e interacci\u00f3n de la maquinaria intracelular con las secuencias aminoterminales de las prote\u00ednas de secreci\u00f3n. Dos rutas principales diferentes se han descrito en las bacterias, por una parte, el mecanismo mediado por seca\/b que dirige prote\u00ednas de secreci\u00f3n a la membrana de forma postraducional (beck y col., 2000) y por otra parte, el mecanismo mediado por la maquinaria srp, formado por ffh y scrna y su receptor ftsy, que dirigen prote\u00ednas a la membrana al comienzo de su s\u00edntesis para su translocaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s del canal de membrana o transloc\u00f3n, siendo muchas de estas prote\u00ednas integrales de membrana como en el caso de e.Coli (dalvey y chan, 2005). no se han encontrado genes hom\u00f3logos a secb en streptomyces lividans, pero s\u00ed est\u00e1n presentes, los genes de la maquinaria srp, ffh, scrna y ftsy (palac\u00edn y col., 2003). Ffh y el scrna constituyen la srp de s.Lividans (palaci\u00f3n y col., 2003). Con este trabajo, hemos detectado un completo formado por ffh, ftsy y prote\u00ednas    modelo de secreci\u00f3n, alpha-amilasa y agarasa, en el citoplasma celular del mutante para la pepetidasa se\u00f1al mayoritariamente (y62) (palomino y mellado, 2005), donde el patr\u00f3n de secreci\u00f3n est\u00e1 disminuido (palaci\u00f3n y col., 2002), indicando que la srp est\u00e1 implicada en el mecanismo de secreci\u00f3n de esta bacteria.
