Decussatus. Se ha obtenido informacion sobre los requerimientos nutritivos de esta especie y se han valorado distintas dietas alternativas al alimento vivo. El primer bloque experimental de la tesis consiste en un estudio de la fisiolog\u00eda de la alimentacion de la semilla, analizando el efecto de la concentracion del alimento sobre las tasas fisiologicas y el crecimiento de la semilla. Las distintas dietas ensayadas fueron las dietas microalgales vivas, dietas microalgales secas y dietas no algales. Los criterios de valoracion de las dietas fueron: disponibilidad, digestibilidad, aceptabilidad y composicion bioquimica.  segun los resultados obtenidos, la concentracion de alimento influye notablemente en las tasas de crecimiento debido, al efecto de la concentracion sobre la ingestion.  el crecimiento fue superior en la semilla alimentada con la microalga viva, t. Suecica, seguido por t-iso y, por ultimo, p. Tricornutum. El crecimiento de la semilla alimentada con esas mismas microalgas pero en seco, fue del 50% del crecimiento con las vivas. Se puede llegar a sustituir hasta el 50% de las microalgas por harinas, con crecimientos incluso superiores.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
