La muestra estudiada incluy\u00f3 un total de 320 morales, 116 primeros molares temporales, 127 segundos molares temporales y 77 primeros molares permanentes, en los cuales fue evaluada la integridad de las superficies oclusal mediante los criterios de eksatrand y cols. (1998).     posteriormente, las superficies oclusales fueron examinadas mediante el dispositivo l\u00e1ser de fluorescencia diagnodent. El \u00edndice kappa, la sensibilidad, especificidad, valores predictivos, raz\u00f3n de probabilidad y valor del \u00e1rea bajo la curva de caracter\u00edsticas operativas para el receptor, fueron calculadas en todos los grupos de molares estudiados. Se determin\u00f3 que el dispositivo l\u00e1ser de fluorescencia diagnodent es una prueba diagnostica complementaria v\u00e1lida para el diagn\u00f3stico de desmineralizaciones subsuperficiales en molares temporales y permanentes con superficies oclusales aparentemente \u00edntegras y susceptibles de tratamiento remineralizador.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
