El trabajo se centra en tres aspectos. En primer lugar, el estudio de las isometrias de (g,g) cuando g admite ciertas estructuras complejas o cuaternionicas. En segundo lugar se construye una familia de grupos de lie resolubles riemannianos cuyos grupos de isotropia tienen por algebra de lie un algebra de lie compacta fijada de antemano. Por ultimo, se estudian los grupos de lie cuyas algebras son los nilradicales de las subalgebras parabolicas de un algebra compleja simple.
