<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El objetivo principal de la tesis ha sido demostrar que los espectros sers pueden ser estudiados mediante los mismos m\u00e9todos te\u00f3ricos que se emplean en otros problemas quimicof\u00edsicos.  se ha podido comprobar que el mecanismo de transferencia de carga es una contribuci\u00f3n muy importante en sers y que en el caso de mol\u00e9culas arom\u00e1ticas, llega a ser el que determina las intensidades relativas. la metodolog\u00eda de an\u00e1lisis desarrollada permite dar explicaci\u00f3n cuantitativa de la mayor parte de los hechos experimentales observados incluso de peque\u00f1os detalles de los espectros registrados. se ha incluido el metal en los c\u00e1lculos ab initio empleados para obtener frecuencias e intensidades de las bandas sers, lo que ha potenciado la capacidad de an\u00e1lisis en varios aspectos, por ejemplo, se ha podido explicar cuantitativamente la aparici\u00f3n de bandas prohibidas en raman y que aparecen en sers, sin necesidad de efectuar hip\u00f3tesis previas sobre la simetr\u00eda operativa en el entorno de la mol\u00e9cula absorbida. se ha podido demostrar que no es la orientaci\u00f3n con respecto a la superficie el factor que determina la intensidad de una banda, sino el efecto de transferencia de carga, lo que es una important\u00edsima novedad que deja absoletas todas las interpretaciones antiguas basadas en las reglas de selecci\u00f3n del mecanismo electromagn\u00e9tico.  finalmente ha quedado claro que el mecanismo es completamente fotobnico, sino que intervengan pasos intermedios t\u00e9rmicos, esto
