El estudio se centrar\u00e1 en el grado de interacci\u00f3n de las especies met\u00e1licas, por un lado entre s\u00ed, y por otro, con el \u00f3xido de cerio del soporte, tras diversos tratamientos de reducci\u00f3n (473 y 773 k). Con la ayuda de t\u00e9cnicas de caracterizaci\u00f3n in situ y reacciones prueba \u00absensibles\u00bb a los cambios producidos tras los tratamientos de reducci\u00f3n, se obtendr\u00e1 informaci\u00f3n relativa a la naturaleza de los sitios activos presentes en la superficie del catalizador, lo que permitir\u00e1 un mejor conocimiento de los sistemas catal\u00edticos en estudio. por \u00faltimo, bas\u00e1ndose en la informaci\u00f3n anterior, se estudiar\u00e1 un grupo de catalizadores (pt-sn\/ceo2\/c) en dos reacciones interesantes desde el punto de vista industrial: la
