Recientes trabajos han puesto de manifiesto como mutaciones en la apolipoproteinas e y ai-ciii-aiv se han relacionado con la hiperlipemia familiar combinada, que presenta un perfil lip\u00eddico similar. Nos proponemos realizar un estudio bioqu\u00edmico y lipoproteico de pacientes con gota, para determinar si presentan un perfil fen\u00e9tico caracter\u00edstico que influya en esta asociaci\u00f3n y en la eliminaci\u00f3n reducida de uratos a nivel renal.  m\u00e9todos     se evaluaron pacientes gotosos basalmente y tras la realizaci\u00f3n de dieta hipouricemiante a los 15 d\u00edas y se contrastaron con controles sanos o con los propios pacientes antes y despu\u00e9s de dieta. Se determinaron glucosa, colesterol, triflic\u00e9ridos (con las diferentes fracciones vldl, idl, ldl y hdl), \u00e1cido \u00farico, acaloramiento de \u00farico y excreci\u00f3n fraccionada de urico. Se determinaron las mutaciones de la apo e (e2, e3 y e4) y del cluster apo ai-ciii-aiv (mutaci\u00f3n x2, a y s2 respectivamente). Se analizaron los datos de relaci\u00f3n mutaci\u00f3n con perfil bioqu\u00edmico y renal.  resultados     el fenotipo apo e2 fue el m\u00e1s frecuentemente encontrado y se relacion\u00f3 con la existencia de una mayor cantidad de triglic\u00e9ridos en la vldl e idl as\u00ed como con un menor aclaramiento renal de uratos. La mutaci\u00f3n (alelo a) de la apo al se encontr\u00f3 con m\u00e1s frecuencia en los gotosos y se implica en la aparici\u00f3n de niveles elevados de hdl colesterol. La presencia del alelo x2 se relacionaba con las cifras elevadas de triglic\u00e9ridos, y de la concentraci\u00f3n de \u00e9stos en las mol\u00e9culas de vldl. Cualquier mutaci\u00f3n del cluster apo al-ciii-aiv condiciona la presencia de niveles superiores de coleterol en las mol\u00e9culas de vldl e idl y niveles superiores de
