Como resultado del trabajo se ha concluido:  1) la aleacion al 5083 usada contiene muchos tipos de compuestos insolubles que se identifican principalmente por analisis de difraccion de rayos x y se distinguen por el tama\u00f1o.  2) el estudio experimental del estado de tensiones residuales en una probeta soldada, demuestra que el uso de un modelo de tension plana, junto con una serie de hipotesis simplificativas, da buenos resultados para la evaluacion cuantitativa de las tensiones residuales originadas por la soldadura.  el estudio experimental de la influencia de los gases y de los parametros de soldadura, demuestra que controlandolos adecuadamente podremos predecir la geometria del cordon y, el tipo de transferencia de las gotas al ba\u00f1o de
