M\u00faltiples estudios han confirmado la implicaci\u00f3n de esta hormona en la regulaci\u00f3n de la absorci\u00f3n intestinal de p\u00e9ptidos, l\u00edpidos y az\u00facares. Decidimos completar los datos sobre el papel de la leptina en la regulaci\u00f3n de la absorci\u00f3n intestinal de az\u00facares y amino\u00e1cidos. Los resultados m\u00e1s relevantes de los estudios sobre absorci\u00f3n intestinal de az\u00facares fueron: \u00c2\u00bbal contrario que en los ratones normales, la leptina aumenta la absorci\u00f3n intestinal de galactosa in vitro en intestino de ratones gen\u00e9ticamente obesos ob\/ob y db\/db. \u00c2\u00abla leptina presente en la luz intestinal inhibe la absorci\u00f3n de az\u00facares en rata in vivo, sin afectar a la permeabilidad intestinal. \u00c2\u00bbla hormona regula la captaci\u00f3n de az\u00facares en c\u00e9lulas caco-2 al actuar desde la membrana apical y basolateral. En este efecto est\u00e1n implicados la activaci\u00f3n de la pkc y la pka. *L.A leptina apical inhibe la actividad de la bomba na+\/k+ en la c\u00e9lulas caco-2.   En cuanto a la absorci\u00f3n intestinal de amino\u00e1cidos: \u00c2\u00bben la membrana apical de los enterocitos de rata se demuestra un transporte de prolina y b-alanina dependiente de ph atribuible al transportador patl. \u00c2\u00bbla leptina inhibe la absorci\u00f3n de r-alani\u00f1a y glutamina en intestino de rata in vi tro, sin afectar a la captaci\u00f3n de prolina \u00c2\u00bbla leptina apical inhibe la captaci\u00f3n de li-alani\u00f1a, prolina y glutamina en c\u00e9lulas caco-2 sin afectar al transporte de arginina.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
