El objetivo final es la determinacion de las constantes opticas de estas peliculas y el estudio de la variacion que experimentan dichas constantes cuando son sometidas a tratamientos opticos y termicos. El contenido global del trabajo esta estructurado en seis capitulos.  el primero, se dedica a una introduccion general sobre el estado amorfo, con especial referencia a los calcogenuros amorfos y sus aplicaciones. En los capitulos 2 y 3 se desarrollan dos metodos de caracterizacion optica a partir de los espectros de transmision de las peliculas. El primero esta basado en las transmitancias de los maximos y minimos de interferencia a incidencia normal, mientras que el segundo se fundamenta, exclusivamente, en las longitudes de onda de dichos extremos a incidencia normal y oblicua. El capitulo 4 se dedica a la descripcion de las diversas tecnicas empleadas en la preparacion y caracterizacion de las peliculas. En el capitulo 5 se determinan las constantes opticas y se estudia la dependencia de las mismas con la composicion. Finalmente, el capitulo 6 se dedica al estudio de los fenomenos foto- y termo-inducidos, en peliculas delgadas del sistema calcogenuro amorfo as-se, analizando las variaciones que experimentan las
