Esta migraci\u00f3n interviene tanto en la respuesta angiog\u00e9nica, como en el remodelado y reparaci\u00f3n de los vasos. Sin embargo, el mecanismo a  trav\u00e9s del cual el no lleva a cabo este proceso no est\u00e1 claramente definido. hemos estudado el efecto del no sobre el movimiento de las c\u00e9lulas endoteliales a\u00f3rticas de procedencia bovina y murina, mediante el modelo in vitro de re-endotelizaci\u00f3n en monocapa, empleando el donador de no, dea-no, as\u00ed como el estimulador de la enzima oxido nitrico sintasa endotelial (enos o nos3) bradiquinina. Observamos que el no incrementa la migraci\u00f3n endotelial a\u00f3rtica en estadios tempranos del mismo (2, 4, y 6 horas).  Tambi\u00e9n quisimos estudiar cual era la implicaci\u00f3n del no end\u00f3geno durante la migraci\u00f3n endotelial y pudimos observar un incremento tras el tratamiento con el donador de no a las 2 horas que descendi\u00f3 dr\u00e1sticamente en periodos posteriores de tiempo (4 y 6 horas) as\u00ed caracterizamos como este efecto lo llevaba a cabo a trav\u00e9s de una metaloproteasa de matriz extracelulr llamada colagena-3 o mmp-13 la cual no solo tiene la capacidad de degradar col\u00e1genos fibrilares tipo i, ii, ii  y tener una elevada cpacida proteol\u00edtica sino que adem\u00e1s se hab\u00eda detectado su presencia en tejido a\u00f3rtico, y cuya regulaci\u00f3n transcripcional por no en este tipo celular, fue previamente descrita por nosotros en la cual la cascada de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n involucrada en modular la regulaci\u00f3n es a trav\u00e9s de la v\u00eda no-gmpc-pkg-mapk.  adem\u00e1s detectamos una localizaci\u00f3n de mmp-13 en microdominios de membrana caveolares, asociada directamente a una prtote\u00edna abundante y fundamental en la estructurura de las caveolas, denominada caveolina-1.
