Si se usa otra fruta se debe denominar \u00abvino de &#8230;\u00bb Acompa\u00f1ado del nombre de la fruta. La manufactura de vinos de otras frutas distintas de la uva es muy popular en muchos pa\u00edses del norte europeo, donde las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas impiden el desarrollo de la vitivinicultura. La cee define los vinos de frutas como la bebida alcoh\u00f3lica obtenida pro al fermentaci\u00f3n parcial o completa de jugos de frutas frescos, jugo concentrado o reconstituido; o macerado de pulpa con la adici\u00f3n de agua, az\u00facar o miel.  finalizada la fermentaci\u00f3n se puede adicionar jugo fresco, concentrado o reconstituido. Los vinos de fruta tendr\u00e1n una concentraci\u00f3n alcoh\u00f3lica comprendida entre 8 y 14% (gramos\/100 ml). la elaboraci\u00f3n de vinos de frutas cr\u00edticas es popular en turqu\u00eda y los pa\u00edses asi\u00e1ticos (china, jap\u00f3n, corea). En argentina, una de las zonas citr\u00edcolas m\u00e1s importantes se encuentra localizada en la mesopotamia argentina, espec\u00edficamente en la franja de suelos arenosos existentes sobre la margen del r\u00edo uruguay, en la provincia de entre r\u00edos. Dentro de esta zona, en le departamento concordia, reviste gran importancia la producci\u00f3n de mandarinas y naranjas. Particularmente, de las diferentes variedades cultivadas de naranjas merecen destacarse la newhall y washington navel (ombligo), salustiana (com\u00fan) y Valencia. a los efectos de utilizar algunas de estas variedades t\u00edpicas de la zona para obtener una bebida alcoh\u00f3lica, en el presente estudio se adaptaron tecnolog\u00edas usadas en enolog\u00eda para elaborar \u00abvino de naranja\u00bb.
