La naturaleza qu\u00edmica de estos compuestos lo hace poseedores de algunas propiedades muy atractivas como son: gran estabilidad t\u00e9rmica, alta conductividad i\u00f3nica, y ancha ventana electroqu\u00edmica. Las aplicaciones de estos compuestos abarcan un amplio abanico: desde \u00abdisolventes verdes\u00bb en reacciones org\u00e1nicas hasta electrolitos para aplicaciones en sensores o dispositivos electrocr\u00f3micos entre otros.     en algunas de las aplicaciones de los lis, especialmente en cuanto a su papel en la electroqu\u00edmica, las investigaciones m\u00e1s recientes se orientan hacia la b\u00fasqueda de materiales s\u00f3lidos que superen algunos de los inconvenientes inherentes al uso de l\u00edquidos en tales aplicaciones.      a lo largo del desarrollo del proyecto de tesis doctoral se han sintetizado pol\u00edmeros con estructura qu\u00edmica similar a la de los l\u00edquidos i\u00f3nicos (lis) describi\u00e9ndose por primera vez el m\u00e9todo de s\u00edntesis de una gran variedad de policationes con diferente contra-ani\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de una reacci\u00f3n de intercambio ani\u00f3nico que es bien conocida en la qu\u00edmica e los lis. El empleo de este tipo de reacci\u00f3n en la s\u00edntesis de pol\u00edmeros ha dado lugar a l\u00edquidos i\u00f3nicos polim\u00e9ricos, tanto lineales como micropart\u00edculas de los mismos, con prometedoras aplicaciones tanto en el campo de la electroqu\u00edmica como en el de las nanotecnolog\u00edas.     en nanotecnolog\u00eda, se ha desarrollo un m\u00e9todo de transferencia de nanoobjetos de un medio acuoso a otro org\u00e1nico, que adem\u00e1s nos ha permitido obtener nanocomposites formados por una matriz polim\u00e9rica de lips y nanoobjetos dispersos. Adem\u00e1s, estos lips, se han empleado en la s\u00edntesis de dispersiones org\u00e1nicas de pol\u00edmeros conductores que dan lugar a filmes conductores con muy buenas propiedades.     por otro
