Teniendo en cuenta que los 2-(1-aminoalquil)oxiranos de partida se pueden obtener a partir de una gran variedad de alcoholes al\u00edlicos en cualquiera de sus formas estereoisom\u00e9ricas, el m\u00e9todo desarrollado resulta altamente vers\u00e1til y estereoselectivo. tambi\u00e9n se han preparado gamma-amino vinil sulfonas n-propargiladas, que se han utilizado para la obtenci\u00f3n de 3-azabiciclo[3.3.0]octenonas por ciclaci\u00f3n de pauson-khand intramolecular. El resultado estereoqu\u00edmico de la ciclaci\u00f3n no s\u00f3lo ha resultado estar controlado por la estructura del sustrato, sino tambi\u00e9n por el metal del complejo carbon\u00edlico usado. se ha intentado aprovechar la versatilidad de los 2-(1-aminoalquil)oxiranos para la preparaci\u00f3n de gamma-amino vinil fosfonatos, de 4-amino-1-alquen-3-oles y de oxiranil pirrolidinas.
