Con cada uno de estos cultivos microalgales se alimento por separado al microcrustaceo artemia sp. Y al rotifero brachionus plicatilis. Se produjo un amplio espectro de calidades nutritivas en las microalgas que se reflejaron en profundas diferencias en el contenido de proteina, proteina-lipidos, proteina\/glucidos, supervivencia, peso seco, longitud, hembras gravidas y desoves en artemia sp.  y b. Plicatilis. Todos estos parametros se correlacionaron positivamente con la concentracion de nutrientes y tasa de renovacion; el incremento de ambas variables produjo una mejor adaptacion del perfil bioquimico de las microalgas a las necesidades nutritivas de artemia sp. Y b. Plicatilis produciendo en estos una calidad nutricional elevada como presas. La capacidad de controlar la calidad bioquimica de b. Plicatilis y de la biomasa y produccion de nauplios de artemia sp.
