En concreto, era la primera vez que se utilizaba de forma expl\u00edcita la cuantificaci\u00f3n de la incertidumbre de un modelo con el fin de dise\u00f1ar un controlador robusto a la misma. Sin embargo, tambi\u00e9n puso en evidencia la gran distancia existente entre las \u00e1reas de identificaci\u00f3n y control, que hasta el momento se hab\u00eda desarrollado de forma completamente independiente la  una de la otra. Resultaba, por tanto, necesario el desarrollo, por un lado, de nuevas metodolog\u00edas de identificaci\u00f3n que proporcionasen las apropiadas descripciones de la incertidumbre, y, por el otro, de nuevas herramientas para el an\u00e1lisis y s\u00edntesis de controladores robustos que acercasen ambas \u00e1reas de conocimiento. en la actualidad, con el aumento de la capacidad de c\u00e1lculo disponible, la m\u00e1xima desventaja del control h es la excesiva complejidad de los controladores resultantes. \u00e9sta responde al elevado orden de los modelos de los sistemas a controlar, as\u00ed como al empleo de diversos filtros de ponderaci\u00f3n, introducidos para asegurar tanto la estabilidad como el funcionamiento robustos. Por lo tanto, el orden del controlador t\u00edpicamente es el de la planta m\u00e1s el de los filtros empleados. en las aplicaciones industriales, es preferible el empleo de controladores de complejidad reducida, ya que \u00e9sta suele verse limitada por el hardware y \/o las restricciones computacionales. Adem\u00e1s, cuanto menor es el orden del controlador, m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil resulta su implementaci\u00f3n, mantenimiento e, incluso, su comprensi\u00f3n. en este trabajo se propone una metodolog\u00eda iterativa para el dise\u00f1o de controladores de orden reducido basada en la identificaci\u00f3n de sucesivos modelos en distintas bandas de
