Participaron cuarenta estudiantes de ingl\u00e9s para fines espec\u00edficos de la facultad de ciencias del trabajo de la universidad de granada durante el curso acad\u00e9mico 2004-2005. Se aplicaron una escala de ansiedad (foreign language classroom anxiety scale, flcas, horwitz, horwitz y cope, 1986), una prueba de nivel de dominio global  (quick placement test, qpt, universidades de oxford y de cambridge, 2001), una prueba oral (phillips, 1992), una prueba escrita (naunton, 2000), adem\u00e1s de un cuestionario de datos personales y formaci\u00f3n previa. Se realizaron entrevistas personales con estudiantes de niveles de ansiedad elevados. Se analizaron los datos mediante correlaciones pearson, correlaciones parciales, an\u00e1lisis de varianza y an\u00e1lisis de regresi\u00f3n m\u00faltiple.
