En la actividad monofenolasa se ha demostrado la liberaci\u00f3n enzim\u00e1tica de difenol, en cantidades estequiom\u00e9tricas con la especie oxitirosinasa, con determinaciones directas mediante cromatograf\u00eda de gases \/ espectrometr\u00eda de masas, as\u00ed como evidencias indirectas comprobando la estequiometr\u00eda variable de la reacci\u00f3n, ante diversas condiciones de ensayo. Se han dise\u00f1ado experimentos y simulaciones por integraci\u00f3n num\u00e9rica del correspondiente sistema de ecuaciones diferenciales, para comprobar la validez de diversos mecanismos de reacci\u00f3n alternativos. Se ha deducido la expresi\u00f3n anal\u00edtica del factor de autoactivaci\u00f3n de velocidades (raf), par\u00e1metro cin\u00e9tico \u00fatil para cuantificar la autoactivaci\u00f3n catal\u00edtica en la actividad monofenolasa de tirosinasa. En conjunto, se ha demostrado la validez del mecanismo de reacci\u00f3n propuesto para la enzima tirosinasa por el equipo investigador, descartando err\u00f3neos mecanismos propuestos por otros autores. Adem\u00e1s, se han determinado diversas constantes cin\u00e9ticas que caracterizan las actividades monofenolasa y difenolasa, en tirosinasas de diversas fuentes
