Adem\u00e1s, cuando estas disoluciones son sometidas a flujos, las macromol\u00e9culas var\u00edan su conformaci\u00f3n, otorgando al fluido propiedades diferentes a las del equilibrio, siendo especialmene notable la variaci\u00f3n de la viscosidad con el gradiente de flujo aplicado. Este tipo de estudios se enmarca dentro del \u00e1mito de la reolog\u00eda, ciencia que estudia la deformaci\u00f3n y el flujo de la materia. Una herramienta muy \u00fatil para entender y predecir el comportamiento de las macromol\u00e9culas en flujo es la simulaci\u00f3n computacional. En esta tesis se ha estudiado, tanto mediante t\u00e9cnicas experimentales como de simulaci\u00f3n la conformaci\u00f3n y din\u00e1mica de diversos sistemas polim\u00e9ricos, tanto en disoluci\u00f3n diluida como concentrada.  Las t\u00e9cnicas de simulaci\u00f3n empleadas fueron monte carlo y din\u00e1mica browniana, en las que el grupo de pol\u00edmeros de murcia posee una dilatada experiencia. En cuanto a t\u00e9cnicas experimentales, se han empleado principalmente la viscosimetr\u00eda capilar y rotacional y la dispersi\u00f3n de luz. El modelo matem\u00e1tico utilizado para representar el pol\u00edmero fue la cadena de bolas y muelles [bird et al. Dynamics of polymeric liquids, kinetic theory, wiley and sons, new york 1987]  en la que se han incluido efectos realistas como la interacci\u00f3n hidrodin\u00e1mica, el volumen excluido y la extensibilidad finita. De este modo se han evaluado la influencia que cada efecto posee sobre la viscosidad de la disoluci\u00f3n conforme aumenta la intensidad en un flujo de cizalla, encontrado que a intensidades elevadas aparece una regi\u00f3n de aclaramiento por cizalla o shear thinning como consecuencia de la extensibilidad finita , pero que a valores intermedios del gradiente el comportamiento de la curva de
