El cap\u00edtulo 2 se ha dedicado a la presentaci\u00f3n de una serie de modelos del monom\u00f3dulo y de la estructura b\u00e1sica del sistema termoel\u00e9ctrico con el objetivo de conocer el comportamiento del pellet ante diferentes visiones de simulaci\u00f3n. El modelo continuo basa su desarrollo en la utilizaci\u00f3n de los par\u00e1metros medios tomados desde diferentes concepciones en funci\u00f3n de la temperatura y sobre todo el material semiconductor. Con la utilizaci\u00f3n de modelos basados en elementos finitos se simplifica la realizaci\u00f3n de software de soporte ya que es relativamente m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil introducir par\u00e1metros en cada uno de los elementos en que se divide el material. en el cap\u00edtulo 3 se ha desarrollado el estudio de algunos compuestos termoel\u00e9ctricos basados en el bite. Se ha realizado la caracterizaci\u00f3n de un compuesto basado en (bi2te3)1-x-y(sb2te3)x(sb2se3)y que intenta explotar las caracter\u00edsticas del bite a temperaturas ambientales (sobre 300k). Previamente se ha desarrollado una serie de conceptos te\u00f3ricos que explican diferentes t\u00e9cnicas en el desarrollo de materiales termoel\u00e9ctricos como el dise\u00f1o en 2d quantum well que conlleva multitud de ventajas en cuanto se consiguen figuras de m\u00e9rito superiores que en bulk. Por \u00faltimo, en el cap\u00edtulo 3 se ha estudiado un monom\u00f3dulo en base a los materiales estudiados. en el cap\u00edtulo 4 se ha desarrollado el material skutterudite
