Esta clase de residuos presenta muchos problemas ambientales y actualmente no existen soluciones eficaces para su eliminaci\u00f3n.     se han estudiado dos tratamientos enzim\u00e1ticos para transformar los residuos en productos qu\u00edmicos comercializables consiguiendo un aprovechamiento de los mismos.     uno de los tratamientos consiste en la hidr\u00f3lisis enzim\u00e1tica de la grasa o aceite para obtener glicerol y \u00e1cidos grasos de calidad industrial. el segundo tratamiento consiste en la s\u00edntesis enzim\u00e1tica de \u00e9steres met\u00edlicos de los \u00e1cidos
